On July 31st, 2024, Parenting Network partnered with the nonprofit organization I Support the Women- Central Valley to host a community distribution event. The goal of the event was to provide free essential hygiene products and other necessities to families in need throughout the local area.
At the event, attendees were able to pick up a variety of items, including:
- Underwear and bras
- Swimsuits
- Food boxes
- Women’s hygiene products (pads, tampons)
- Children’s diapers
In total, 167 people attended the event and were able to access these crucial supplies.
The Parenting Network was proud to partner with I Support the Women-Central Valley to put on this impactful event. By collaborating with community organizations, the network was able to reach and support families who are struggling to make ends meet.
Providing access to essential hygiene products is about more than just basic needs – it’s about dignity, health, and empowering people. We’re grateful to have been able to make a positive impact through this event.
Parenting Network, Inc. plans to continue collaborating with local nonprofits to host similar distribution events in the future. Their goal is to ensure that all families in Tulare County have access to the resources and support they need.
