Our Respite Program is an essential service for foster parents and parents involved in the child welfare system who need temporary and short-term childcare. We understand that parenting can be challenging, and sometimes, families need a break to take care of other responsibilities or simply recharge.
The Respite Program provides a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for children while their parents take care of court-ordered services or attend agency groups such as support groups and Project Fatherhood. We understand that parents need to focus on their own well-being and development to provide the best care for their children, and Respite is here to support them.
Respite care is available to parents who have just received placement of their children and need time to adjust to their new family dynamic. This can be a stressful and overwhelming time for parents, and Respite is here to offer a helping hand. We provide care for children of all ages, from infants to teenagers, ensuring that parents can take care of their responsibilities without worrying about their children’s safety and well-being.
In addition to providing temporary and short-term childcare, Parenting Network also offers a range of support services for parents. We understand that parenting can be challenging, and we are here to provide guidance and resources to help parents navigate the child welfare system and improve their parenting skills. We also offer support groups and workshops to help parents connect with other caregivers and receive additional support. At Parenting Network, we are committed to supporting families and ensuring that every child receives the care and attention they need to thrive. We believe that every parent deserves a break and that every child deserves a safe and nurturing environment.
